Beth's Bags!!!!

My bestie, Joni, has a sister who has made some different bags and asked if I wanted to sell them.  OF COURSE! they're fabu!!!!  Here are some pictures and I'll be bringing them to shows.

Ok, I've been working on some different things.  You saw the "Sack Boy" character from the video game, Little Big Planet. He has found his home on the desk of my brother in law, Frank, and both are very happy :)  If you'd like your own Sack Boy, he runs about 35.00 with his outfits/hats running about 5.00 each. 

I've also made a wonderful shrug jacket that is posted on Facebook.  I will try to get everything together to post here as well.

Also, I've begun work with several photographers with infant sets.  There is a Bumble Bee set witha  honey comb mat and a little antanae hat with bumble bee striped cacoon sack. I also have a lily pad that will come with a head band with a flower.  The lilly pad can also be used as a leaf that could be used with the Lady Bug hat and I think I will come up with a little Caterpillar hat for boys.

My Brother-in-law requested a Sackboy doll from the video game "Little Big Planet". This is obviously my first attempt, but it was a lot of fun to figure out. I've got lots of other ideas for accessories :)

New Creations

While I love doing hats, i've been a  bit restless.  So I'm trying some new things. i'm currently working on a Shrug jacket.  Ashamedly, i admit that I am using a pattern :) As you know, my hats are all my own creation because i hate reading patterns! But I really want to try some new things so I'm biting the bullet and making myself sit down and read a pattern book.  So the Shrug and several other projects will not be unique.  I'll try to remember to always mark those posts as "pattern". I can't take credit for someone else's work! :) 

I have been approached with a book proposal for my creations but the very thought of trying to write them out was exhausting!!! So for now, my hats will stay my own.  Props to those who are able to write out patterns!!!!

This year I will also be getting in with some photographers so you may see some pictures that have been Loopy-fied!!!!!  The ideas that are simmering in my head are going to be PRECIOUS for babies!!!!

Well, john is back in school so hopefully i will have time to create some new and "borrowed" items!

LOOPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year!!!!!  John and I cut a rug at the Ballantyne in Charlotte and I even got Wayne to dance!!!!!  John got his brace fitted again and was able to wear it for almost an hour in the car! he did a great job.

We had a great time with friends and hope that you did too!

I have so many new ideas for this year and i can't wait to get started!  I will be making things out of Target bags so if you have any laying around, let me know.  I also broke down and bought some patterns!!!! Patterns are so intimidating for me and I don't usually use them but some of these hats and things were just too cute.  I have great admiration for people who can write this stuff down!

I will also be trying some larger items such as Sontags and Sweaters so make sure you keep up with the Facebook site as well as this one! I'm excited about a New Year and hope to meet many more of you ---
